The Brewers this past weekend continued their roll against the Clovers. Both teams were missing several players, but that didn't stop the Brewers from putting runs on the board. The game started with 6 Brewers reaching base, scoring 3 runs. In the 2nd, the Brewers got on a roll with the first 7 batters reaching base (8 total in the inning) scoring 7 runs, including a Gossage double, a Goldberg triple and a Meals Home Run. In the 3rd the Brewers left the bases loaded not scoring anyone... The only inning that happened. The started scoring again in the 4th with 3 runs and 5th with 4 more. During that time Reynes collected 2 more hits, Gossage, Goldberg and J. Vaughn doubled and Hartman and Meals both Homered (Meals Twice, making it 3 on the day). On the mound McCann was his usual self, striking out 9 in only 4 innings scattering 5 hits. Final score, Brewers 18 - Clovers 1.
